The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards have added a brand-new Best Country category for the first time in the show's history.

Nominees include top country artists like Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, and more.

Country artists are also scoring nominations in major cross-genre categories, including Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration.

Well, it's official, y'all! Country music has finally earned its rightful place on the MTV Video Music Awards stage.
