The Detroit Lions are back on the practice field on Wednesday for joint practices with the Miami Dolphins. As the activities get underway, there were a few positive early injury notes from practice, including the return of starting cornerback Terrion Arnold (hamstring), rookie edge rusher Ahmed Hassanein (lower leg), and second-year running back Sione Vaki (hamstring). Unfortunately, safety Kerby Joseph was reportedly not suited up for practice, per our own Jeremy Reisman.
At his morning press conference, Lions coach Dan Campbell gave injury updates on all three players that returned; however, it initially didn’t sound like positive news for Arnold:
