In Countdown Season 1, Episode 10, "The Muzzle Pile," Team Hurricane finally comes face to face with their target, Volchek ( Bogdan Yasinski ). They neutralize the threat, and in less than half the episode, the team is disbanded and everyone moves on. A ten-month time jump finds them back together working on a new case, and it feels like the show has moved on to a second-season plotline .
