ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Chiefs may stray from their usual preseason plan during Friday night’s contest between the Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks.
While Chiefs starters have typically played briefly in each of the team’s first two preseason games under head coach Andy Reid, the three-time Super Bowl champion announced Wednesday that he’s leaning toward younger players getting more snaps when the team heads to the Pacific Northwest.
“I’m still kind of figuring out who’s going to play and not play, that whole deal,” Reid said following practice Wednesday, Kansas City’s final practice in St. Joseph. “There’s a chance I sit a couple starters or at least be short with them. We want to make sure we get a good look at these guys, these younger guys, so we’ll see how it rolls going
