Everyone is excited for Taylor Swift's New Heights debut on Wednesday night, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The Kansas City star -- and best friend and teammate of New Heights co-host Travis Kelce -- talked about the internet-breaking appearance during Chiefs training camp.

Although Mahomes doesn't know anything more about the podcast than we do, even though he made sure to point out he knew before the general public. "They called me after the podcast was done," Mahomes told reporters before amending his statement slightly. "They didn't call me, they called Brittany [his wife]. I was like in the back of the FaceTime."

Mahomes went on to heap praise on the 14-time Grammy winner, saying that her new album The Life Of A Showgirl is certain to be great just based on her work ethic. "Just knowing Taylor and seeing the process from just a little bit closer of how she makes the albums. It's going to be amazing because of how much work she puts into it."

"What better place to announce it than New Heights podcast where I feel like she can be herself and showcase who she is," he said. "I haven't seen it yet, I've seen a little bit of the clips just like everybody else, but I'll be tuned in tonight."
