House Democrats are seeking answers from the Trump administration following the decision to move convicted sex criminal Ghislaine Maxwell from a high-security federal prison to a minimum security facility after she took part in private meetings with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, the president’s former personal defense counsel.
In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons William K. Marshall III, the lawmakers — members of the House Judiciary Committee — criticized the meeting and Maxwell’s move to “a far preferable and relatively luxurious minimum-security prison camp.”
