Cleveland Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders reportedly exited today’s training with an oblique injury and did not return.

The Browns are scheduled for a joint practice with the Philadelphia Eagles, the defending Super Bowl champions, this Wednesday ahead of their preseason clash on Saturday.

According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter , the quarterback was throwing in the early portion of practice when he got hurt. Schefter noted that the former Colorado Buffaloes star was kept out for the remainder of the session.

“Browns QB Shedeur Sanders suffered an oblique injury while throwing during the early portion of practice today, and was held out for the rest of the session,” he shared via X.
