Grab your fuzzy blankets, your smudgy lipstick , and your passport, because the Love Is Blind: UK pods have reopened, innit!

Last summer, LIB: UK charmed us all with unforgettable characters like the incorrigible “ Sam from London ” and Freddie, the hot funeral director who recently surfaced on Perfect Match . The singles felt more mature than certain other versions (*cough* like in the U.S.), and even though most of them crashed and burned, the ride was a spectacular roller coaster. Coming into this season, the natural question is whether this cast can achieve the same soap-operatic appeal. The answer? Let’s just say that so far, I rate it — even if it’s not quite as spectacular as last season.
