The Reacher -verse might be getting bigger, but its newest chapter is already facing some behind-the-scenes turbulence. While Maria Sten’s Neagley spin-off is still in development for Prime Video, the recent Skydance–Paramount merger has split the TV division in two — a shake-up that could complicate the series’ future.

Following the August 7 merger, Paramount’s TV arm was divided into CBS Studios and the newly revived Paramount TV Studios (PTVS). Reacher , Neagley , and Prime Video’s Cross have all been shifted entirely under PTVS, cutting ties with CBS Studios, which had co-produced the first three seasons of Reacher .
