The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced on Wednesday its current list of preseason games, heading into the 2025-26 campaign, and once again, the Powassan Voodoos will be heading south for a preseason tournament.

Among the contests on the docket are both the Powassan Voodoos and Timmins Rock slated to compete in the Terry Geddes Cottage Cup, Aug. 26-28, in Collingwood.

That five-team event, which features two-period match-ups, has the Voodoos and Rock going up against the Newmarket Hurricanes and host Collingwood Blues of the Ontario Junior Hockey League as well as German side Jungadler Mannheim.

The NOJHL regular season opens in September with the Voodoos hosting the Sault Se. Marie Thunderbirds on Friday, Sept 12.
