“It’s probably the best year I’ve ever had in my baseball career,” the 18-year-old catcher told High Button Sports. “Playing with these guys, it’s so much fun. It was just great to be a part of it.”

Laprise is heading into his second season in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Strathroy Rockets. He led the Rockets rookies last season with 18 goals in 50 games.
