In a planned joint session of Legislative Districts 27 and 28 Democratic committees, Aug. 19, Arizona’s chief law enforcement official Kris Mayes will meet with constituents, outline her priorities for the office and respond to questions and concerns from attendees, according to a news release.

Since taking office, Mayes has been a proponent of civil liberties, consumer rights and the rule of law, the release states. Often in collaboration with 20+ attorneys general around the country, she participates in lawsuits defending federal funding, data privacy, public safety, public education, election integrity and more.
