RICHMOND, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont Congresswoman Becca Balint visited with Vermont Youth Conservation Corps officials on Wednesday to show her support for the program amid funding cuts from the Trump administration.

The organization grows produce for households dealing with food insecurity, as well as working on conservation projects across the state.

VYCC is one of five Vermont programs that get Americorps funding, which was the target of $500,000 in cuts by the president earlier this year.
