Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles began his rehab assignment in style.

Farm Report: M’s promote touted prospect, another hits 1st Double-A HR

In his first at-bat since in more than four months, Robles lined a double into the right-center-field gap in the first inning of Triple-A Tacoma’s game against Las Vegas on Tuesday night. Robles, who was Tacoma’s designated hitter, finished the night 1 for 2 after grounding out and getting hit by a pair of pitches.

Robles has been working his way back from a fractured humeral head and dislocated shoulder, which he suffered while crashing into the right-field netting to make a highlight-reel catch on April 6 at San Francisco’s Oracle Park.

The Mariners anticipate Robles will need at least 40 to 50 at-bats before he’s ready to be activate
