OLD TOWN -- Old Town Fire Rescue has a new friend and today they got to help her celebrate a pretty big birthday.

Back in March they met Betty at the local senior citizens meeting and she told them she would love a ride in a fire truck.

So today, on her 100th birthday, they made her wish come true.

Home Depot donated wood so they could make steps to get Betty into the truck.

She reportedly asked how she got so lucky to be surrounded by all those handsome men… but they say the best part was when she told them how much fun she was having during her ride around town.
