It's been particularly hot across much of the UK this week thanks to the fourth heatwave of 2025.

But while the heat may be welcomed by many, it can also be slightly uncomfortable.

According to the Met Office, the highs seen in recent days have arrived after the jet stream 'buckled'.

High pressure has brought with it 'strong sunshine' and helped temperatures rise across the country.

But the Midlands has seen the 'highest values', the Met Office said.
