We opened today with Elsbeth in hot pink, and we close it in another highlighter color: this rich marigold on Taraji P. Henson. This outfit found me when I needed it, because I just watched the hideous Project Runway “boring fabrics” challenge and it was so ghastly and grim and depressing. I have not enjoyed ANY of the clothes so far, frankly, and half of them at LEAST turned out something incompetent in episode three?!? Sorry for the sidebar, but it IS perhaps why I saw this and exhaled with happiness. Also, that tote is CHIC. It feels like a purse she actually carries, versus anything styled to go with the outfit, but it’s also a great contrast. Taraji, you are IN, please (don’t) leave the runway.
