Arkansas PBS airs “Great Scenic Railway Journeys: 30th Anniversary Special,” featuring scenes along railways across the United States and Canada, 6 p.m. Saturday. Program producer Robert VanCamp will be live in the network studios for breaks during the broadcast.

The special looks at railway adventures from the Rocky Mountaineer, which offers a unique experience of train travel with Vista Dome cars, according to a network news release, to the Skyrail, the Canadian rail line that spans from the Atlantic to Pacific oceans and offers nonstop views of the country’s scenery.

It’ll also take a step back in time on Pennsylvania’s East Broad Top railway, which provides firsthand access to what a railroad looked like in 1872.
