Wallace Community College-Selma will soon welcome a new president.

Dr. Donitha Griffin has been named to succeed Dr. James Mitchell, who is retiring after leading the college for 25 years. The Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees approved Griffin’s appointment today.

Griffin is a Selma native who began her professional career as a social worker for the Alabama Department of Public Health.
