Metro Boomin ‘s rape lawsuit is officially headed to trial. After being accused by Vanessa LeMaistre in her 2024 civil suit, both parties entered settlement negotiations, which have since failed, per Billboard.

In her filing, LeMaistre claimed famous producer sexually assaulted and impregnated her in 2016. She recalled an alleged incident where she ingested Xanax and alcohol in Metro Boomin’s studio and later woke up “completely unable to move or make a sound” while he raped her.

The trial is set for Sept. 23, 2025, and it will take place in a Los Angeles federal court room. The outlet states Metro’s attorneys attempted to avert trial by holding a mediation session with a retired judge in July, but no mutual agreement was ever reached.
