MBT Bank has promoted Tom Klapperich and Kevin LaFrance at its Austin, Minnesota, branch.

According to a press release, Klapperich has been promoted to senior vice president, business development officer. He joined MBT Bank in September, bringing over 25 years of banking experience. Klapperich will provide leadership and execute business development strategies for all MBT Bank locations.

LaFrance has been promoted to market president in Austin. He joined MBT Bank in October, bringing nearly 20 years of banking experience including several years as a market president. LaFrance will lead the Austin office while working to develop and retain loans and deposits for the branch.
