The Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union Board agreed at its Aug. 5 meeting that it would attempt to hold a community forum next month to talk about Act 73.
Act 73 of 2025 is a landmark education reform law that aims to transform the state’s education governance, quality and finance systems by implementing items like class-size minimums, a foundation funding formula and a task force that will examine how Vermont might consolidate its nearly 120 school districts.
