LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A man was run over twice in a hotel loading area in Downtown Las Vegas, police said, in what authorities say may have stemmed from an argument between a rideshare driver and another man.

The collision occurred on Aug. 8, just before 10:30 p.m., on First Street near East Ogden Avenue. Callers reported that a security guard was attempting CPR on Matthew Bowen, who was on the ground and not breathing, the report said.

Bowen was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

Investigators learned that a vehicle driven by Kevin Vo was parked in the loading dock area of the Circa Hotel when he began arguing with an unidentified man. According to the report, the vehicle was put in reverse and drove toward the unidentified man, striking Bowen, who was crossing behind the SUV
