Yukoners travelling along the North Klondike Highway between the Village of Carmacks and Dawson City say the road's condition is the worst they've ever seen it due to large potholes and dips.

Dawson City resident Fran Morberg-Green said she's travelled the highway for over 30 years. She said her most recent trip from Whitehorse was "the worst experience" she'd had to date.

"Past Carmacks to Dawson is usually pretty bad," Morberg-Green said. "The highway was terrible. There's potholes but there's no immediate action to fill them in."

On some sections along the stretch of highway, Morberg-Green said potholes had gotten to the size of "craters."
