PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A 28-year-old could spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury found him guilty of shooting and killing a man in his car in District Heights nearly six years ago.

Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Tara Jackson announced Wednesday that Raymond Thompson was convicted of all counts, including first-degree murder, use of a handgun in the commission of a violent crime and wear and carry of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.

The charges against him stem from Nov. 7, 2019, when he reportedly gunned down 34-year-old Edrian Hernandez, who was in his car at the time.
