PORT ALLEN, La. (WAFB) - Online jail records indicate former Port Allen mayor Derek Lewis bonded out of jail on Monday, August 25, after spending about 10 days in jail.

UPDATE 8/14:

The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office says Lewis is now also charged with third-degree rape following additional evidence uncovered in the ongoing investigation. Deputies have also arrested Wyennetti Williams, 67, of Port Allen, on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
