THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A dog napper allegedly swiped a sleeping subway rider's dog on a Bronx train early Sunday morning, police said Wednesday.
The suspect allegedly took the American Bully pup while its 45-year-old owner was asleep on a northbound D train near the Bainbridge and East 206th Street station at around 6 a.m., according to the NYPD.
The man then took off with the brown and black dog, police said.
Authorities released a photo of the medium-build suspect who was last seen wearing a black faded jacket, black t-shirt, black shorts, black shoes, and a black baseball hat.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
