THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A woman is accused of slashing a subway rider in the neck during a fight on a Bronx train Sunday night, police said Thursday.

Diana Perez, 39, allegedly attacked the 33-year-old man on a southbound No. 2 train while it was pulling into the Bronx Park East subway station at around 8:50 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Perez and the victim argued before she allegedly cut him in the neck, police said. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Perez was last seen leaving the Jackson Avenue subway station after the incident, police said.

She was arrested on Wednesday and charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
