Bento is a 1-year-old male black and white Doberman Pinscher and Boston Terrier mixed dog, weighing approximately 63 pounds, and is available for adoption at the Lompoc Animal Center, 1501 West Central Ave.

Center staff say Bento is a smart pup who knows basic commands, enjoys working for his meals and is respectful during feeding time. He settles down for bedtime with no issue and willingly goes into his kennel. He also gets along with dogs of all sizes, large and small, staff said.

Adoption fees include his neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, flea treatment, and a health and wellness exam.

Members of the public can stop by between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday to meet Bento, or make an appointment to meet any of the available animals by calling the shelter at 833-422-8413
