Aug. 9 was The Works Car and Truck Wash Transportation Appreciation Night at Edmonton International Raceway (EIR).

Organizers say there was a massive crowd and high-energy racing.

Out of the nine podium placements, five were earned by ladies.

The next race is Aug. 16.
