Working in the oil biz doesn’t seem like it’ll be any less dangerous — or cutthroat — in Landman ‘s upcoming Season 2.

Paramount+ released the second season’s full trailer Wednesday, instantly making us worry for Cooper and the guys working the derrick that explodes during the preview.

The new footage also gives us more insight into Sam Elliott as Tommy’s father (“You take a long, hard look at me,” he tells Tommy. “I’ve wasted 60 years on hope.” Bleak!)

In early September, Paramount+ released the first footage of the upcoming season, which will kick off on Sunday, Nov. 16. That trailer shows Cami assuming leadership of MTex after Monty’s death and warning some influential moneymen: “The only difference between me and my husband is: I’m meaner.” Watch it below:
