WASHINGTON — President Trump will announce the launch of a new website Tuesday providing Americans with the opportunity to buy drugs directly from the government rather than going through insurance, a White House source told The Post.

The direct-to-consumer website — “TrumpRx” — will be coupled with an announcement that Pfizer plans to lower its prices on some medications distributed in the US , White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced on X.

The news was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The TrumpRx site will offer drugs at a lower rate negotiated by the government, though it did not immediately specify what medications would be available.
