The White House is expected to announce the launch of a direct-to-consumer website for prescription medications on Sept. 30, along with actions from Pfizer to lower the price of several drugs in the U.S, The Wall Street Journal reported. What to know: 1. The website, dubbed TrumpRx, will allow U.S. residents to purchase certain medications at discounted prices negotiated by the federal government, sources told the publication. It was not immediately clear how many drugs would be available or how prices would compare to those for insured patients.
