New Yorker finds diamond in the rough at Arkansas state park and will use it in her engagement ring

While most couples have a great proposal story, it seems that Micherre Fox's engagement ring will have its own tale to tell for years to come. Fox, 31, traveled from New York to Arkansas as part of a trip to search for her own diamond to include in the ring, according to Arkansas State Parks . She decided to spend about a month at the Crater of Diamonds State Park, one of the only diamond-producing sites where members of the public are free to search for the valuable gemstones.
