DEDHAM -- Camp Capella has unveiled a special addition to their grounds, in tribute to a beloved camper.
The Guernsey family has been an intricate part of the Camp Capella community for many years.
From fund raising, donating their time, and even reopening the camp back in 2006 after it had been shut down for nearly 3 years.
A brand new tree house has been built in memory of Abby Guernsey, a former camper, who passed at only 20 years old.
“This is a perfect representation of how. Just because your body doesn’t work like everyone else’s. You can still do all the things. Inclusion is very important for this population," says Katie Guernsey, Abby's mother.
