WATERVILLE -- A new study released by Colby College is highlighting the multi-billion dollar economic impact the college has had on the state over the last few years.

Following a 2019 independent study, the college has released its latest economic impact report, as it continues to evaluate how its contributions are helping to shape the Waterville community and the state.

"It's really important for us to think about the kind of investments that we and many others have been making in Waterville and not just thinking about the investments but what's the return on those investments, what's the impact that's it had," said Colby College President, David Greene.
