WHITESBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - Former Harlan County Black Bear and current Kentucky basketball player Trent Noah hosted a meet and greet on Aug. 13 in Whitesburg.
The rising sophomore gave out T-shirts, signed autographs, and took pictures with fans in partnership with Double Kwik.
Noah said it was good to be back in the mountains before entering his second season with Kentucky Basketball.
“It means so much,” Noah stated. “This is the place that I grew up and I call home. There’s no other place that I would rather spend my downtime before we get back on campus. We get to get in here and talk to the mountain people so it’s great. I love it here.”
There will be another opportunity next week to meet the Harlan County native.
Noah will have a meet and greet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Pikeville on A
