CLEVELAND, Ohio - A former assistant prosecutor for the city of Warren entered a guilty plea in federal court in Cleveland.
Nicholas Graham, 52, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jonathan Greenberg and changed his plea to guilty on Wednesday.
Originally, Graham had pleaded not guilty to charges brought against him, including conspiracy, honest services wire fraud and Hobbs Act extortion.
According to an indictment in September 2024, Graham allegedly reduced criminal charges for Brian Votino, a local car dealer, in exchange for free car repairs while Graham was an assistant prosecutor.
The federal indictment alleges that Graham took action in January 2020 to reduce a felony drug possession charge and a first-degree misdemeanor DUI charge against Votino.
