ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A woman previously charged with concealing her girlfriend’s death has now been charged with her murder, according to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.
Angel Thompson faces one count of malice murder and two counts of identity theft, according to her arrest warrants.
District Attorney Fani Willis gave an update on the case during a news conference on Wednesday.
“We are going to take our time so that we can put together an indictment correctly, but it will involve human trafficking, as well as this murder because we believe that this victim was trafficked prior to her murder,” Willis said.
