AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Several injuries were reported after multiple agencies responded to a school bus rollover crash near Sandy Creek on Wednesday afternoon, a news flash from Mayor Pro Tem, Council Members and Council staff said.

Two students are in critical condition, two others have serious but not-life-threatening injuries and 12 suffered minor injuries, the news flash said.

Austin-Travis County EMS said the Leander Independent School District bus was carrying 42 children and an adult.

The crash happened around 3:16 p.m. in the 22100 block of Nameless Road.

Leander ISD sent an email out to parents regarding the crash that involved its school bus.
