For fans of Sullivan’s Crossing , series star Chad Michael Murray’s breakthrough show One Tree Hill could be a perfect binge-watch before season 4 of the small-town drama arrives. Like Virgin River , Sullivan’s Crossing is based on a series of romance novels by legendary author Robyn Carr. Sullivan’s Crossing season 4 will arrive on the CW later in 2025.

Since she began publishing romance novels in 1980, Carr has written over 28 standalone romance novels, a trilogy of Grace Valley books, the 22-book Virgin River series, the five-book Sullivan’s Crossing series, and a non-fiction guide to writing. The prolific writer’s next show, Thunder Point , will be based on a Virgin River spinoff novel series.
