Taylor Swift announced her new album along with a release date on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast on Wednesday.

Swift said that her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” will be released on Oct. 3, 2025.

Swift originally announced her newest album on Monday when “New Heights,” a podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason Kelce, posted that she would be appearing on the show with a special surprise.

On Monday, Swift’s website also had a countdown to midnight, and once it hit zero, fans could pre-order her new album.

While the album was announced in a short preview clip, there was no release date, nor did she show what the cover would look like.
