Taylor Swift broke the internet this week, surprising everyone with the announcement of her brand new studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl. The 14-time Grammy winner broke the news of the name of the title on the New Heights podcast, which is hosted by Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason.

More and more information is being released about Taylor Swift's The Life Of A Showgirl. The surprise announcement got underway on Monday with a hint at the superstar appearing on her boyfriend Travis' podcast on Wednesday night. More released clips from the New Heights podcast over the course of the day culminated in the announcement of Showgirl, but details like the release date, cover art and track list weren't released.

Now we all of that for The Life Of A Showgirl.

The important date to take away is October 3, when the album will be available. The cover art is gorgeous, featuring Swift submerged underwater with big block letters in that glittery orange we've gotten so used to over the last couple days.

The album will have 12 tracks on it, as an homage to her 12th album, and the back cover art is phenomenal.

Start the countdown to October 3.
