It is currently unclear if there were more than 22 tarantulas living in the abandoned unit
Twenty-two pet tarantulas were found abandoned in an apartment in Greater Manchester, U.K., on June 23.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) rescued four of the large spiders alive. The creepy crawlers were discovered in upside-down plastic tubs, and many of them died. The discovery was made in a unit at Bramhall Court on Cannon St. in Salford.
