WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WREX) — A collision involving two southbound vehicles and a northbound semi-truck left one person in critical condition.
It happened near the intersection on Forest Hills Road and Pleasant Valley Blvd. before 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Winnebago County Sheriff's Lt. Mike Weber tells 13 WREX one of the cars ended up in front of the semi-truck, which was unable to stop in time. The driver of the silver car was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
