A Lompoc man has been arrested on three counts of extortion and an additional count of attempted extortion, according to officials.

Lompoc Police became aware of resident Warren Keller's alleged crime through social media on April 24, when a victim reported that Keller attempted to extort money from him in exchange for not posting damaging information about him.

Another victim came forward on July 24, officials reported, stating that Keller had extorted him via social media and was trying to extort more money from him.

A third victim on Aug. 4 reported to Lompoc Police that Keller had extorted hundreds of dollars from him since April 2024, again in exchange for not posting information about him.
