PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. —

Body camera footage has been released months after a Kentucky man who won $167 million playing the Powerball was arrested and accused of kicking a police officer in Florida.

James Farthing, of Georgetown, Kentucky, cashed his $167.3 million Powerball ticket on April 28.

Just days later on May 2, Farthing was arrested in Pinellas County, Florida for allegedly assaulting a police officer.

Court records say an officer was trying to break up a fight between Farthing and another person at a hotel when Farthing kicked the officer in the face.

The officer said there was body camera footage of the incident showing Farthing kicking him in the face during the incident.
