Taylor Swift shared juicy new details regarding her upcoming 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl , during her "New Heights" podcast debut.

The pop superstar, 35, revealed the official release date for the record - Friday, October 3 - while discussing the project with boyfriend Travis Kelce and his cohost brother, Jason Kelce , during the Wednesday, August 13, episode of their show .

"It was something that I was working on while I was in Europe on the Eras Tour . I just love it. I just love it a lot," Swift said of the record. "I love music."

The singer noted that she would fly to Sweden amid tour breaks to record. "Working on this, I was physically exhausted, at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating," she added.
