PENNSYLVANIA, USA — A severe rainstorm poured down on the Scranton -- Wilkes-Barre area, almost a month's worth of rain in just one and a half hours.
Katelyn Slack's yard and basement on Pittston Avenue in Moosic were completely flooded.
"I woke up to the sound of water, I opened my basement door, it was shooting through the walls, it was getting close to seeping through the floors and then I opened the backdoor and my entire yard was flooded like a foot high, maybe higher,” said Slack.
Even hours after the storm, the Scranton Fire Department is still pumping out water. Slack's basement still has about four feet of water, and her backyard is still fully flooded.
"They can't even get it out fully, they have to get another pump to try and get the water fully out, it's still coming in
