CHEYENNE — Taco John’s International, the fast-food company that began in Cheyenne in 1969 as a tiny taco stand, has officially moved its corporate headquarters to the Minneapolis, Minnesota, area.
The headquarters was previously located in Cheyenne at 808 W. 20th St.
The change has been taking place gradually over the past five years, said Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Dale Steenbergen, who said he didn’t have any additional information about the move out of the capital city.
The location in St. Louis Park, a Minneapolis suburb, started out as a second franchise support center. Over time, as the company expanded eastward, more members of the leadership team relocated from Cheyenne.
